Daelim Wins the Philippines’ Malolos-Clark Railway Project - CP N-02

Daelim Civil Engineering’s Biz Division received the LOA after participating in the bid for the Malolos-Clark Railway Project - CP N-02 (MCRP Section 2) as JV alongside Acciona ordered by the Philippines’ Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Sep. 18. MCRP is a project of constructing 51.2km of ground railway connecting Malolos and Clark north of Manila. Section 2 includes a 15.8km overpass bridge and 1 station. Daelim Civil Engineering’s Biz Division will be in charge of construction as JV with Acciona. The construction period is 48 months from the commencement date, and the contract amount is USD 616.97 million (VAT-exclusive, Daelim: 50%, KRW 362.6 billion). The Division won the Philippines’ first broad high-speed railway MCRP Project in the capital region based on its extensive similar domestic and international construction experiences including Honam Expressway, Brunei’s CC2 and CC3, and Light Rail of Hanoi, Vietnam. Daelim successfully entered the Philippines’ civil engineering infrastructure market with this project.
