The South Gate Tower (SG Tower) obtained use approval from the Seoul Jung Gu Office on June 8. As a complex building with 8 floors underground and 28 floors aboveground, SG Tower is located at 253 Namdaemun-ro, 5-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul and is expected to be a new landmark around Sejong Boulevard and Seoul Station. The project kicked off in September 2017, and it was completed with zero accidents in 33 months despite the difficulty of the construction site being adjacent to the South Gate, the busiest city center.
