Daelim Holds Final Girder Erecting Ceremony for Marine Bridge at Brunei Temburong CC2 Site

The last girder was put up on the bridge pier at the Brunei Temburong CC2 site. With the last girder installed, the site shows the complete bridge shape when viewed with the naked eye. Brunei’s Development Minister and the ambassador to Brunei attended the last girder erecting ceremony to celebrate the last girder installation. Prior to erecting the girder, Brunei’s crown prince attended the launching ceremony — wherein the last girder was transported by a transportation ship headed toward the installation site on the sea — and encouraged the workers.

The Ambassador to Brunei and Brunei’s Development Minister attended the ceremony.

The Temburong bridge project is the largest project in the history of Brunei, and 578 girders have been installed since the first girder was installed in January 2017. The site applied the “left-right balanced installation method” wherein two girders are simultaneously installed for the first time in the world.
