Daelim acquired KOSHA 18001 certification for its construction business from the Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency on December 12. The employees and executives of both companies including Daelim CEO Park Sang-shin and KOSHA Technology Director Bae Gye-wan attended the certificate awarding ceremony held at the Daelim head office in Susong-dong.
KOSHA 18001 is a business management certification system developed and operated to improve autonomous safety & health and accident prevention activities in line with Korean companies’ situations. Certified companies are selected through strict audits including the activity levels of the head office and worksites and interviews with management.

Daelim applied for the certification in September 2017, built the relevant system through training and inspection for about a year, and received certification audits. Daelim acquired the KOSHA 18001 certification following management interview and final certification committee deliberation. Daelim also acquired an ISO 45001 certification, an international standard safety and health management system, in November 2018. As such, Daelim now has domestic and international safety and health certifications with the acquisition of KOSHA 18001.
