The completion ceremony of the Ewha Women’s University (EWU) Seoul Medical Center and the School of Medicine constructed by Daelim was held in Magok-dong, Seoul on November 12. Some 300 people including Ewha Hakdang Board Chief Jang Myung-su, Ewha Women’s University President Kim Hei-sook, Daelim Construction Division’s Construction Execution Manager Kim Gyung-hee, and Daelim Managing Director Lee Gyu-sung attended the ceremony.

Construction of the EWU Magok Medical Center was started in November 2015 and was completed in 3 years. The new EWU Seoul Medical Center consists of 1,014 sick beds in a building with 6 floors underground and 10 floors aboveground. The medical center will commence treatment in full swing in February next year. The newly built EWU School of Medicine consists of a building with 5 floors underground and 12 floors aboveground. The medical school building houses educational and research facilities and dormitory with 99 rooms that can accommodate 179 people.
