Opening Ceremony of Lee Sun-Shin Bridge Held

The opening ceremony of Lee Sun-Shin Bridge (access road to Yeosu National Industrial Complex) constructed by Daelim was held on February 7. Some 700 people attended the ceremony, such as Daelim’s employees including Vice Chairman Kim Yun, Jeonnam Governor, National Assemblyman, and local residents. In particular, Daelim Vice Chairman Kim Yun was awarded an appreciation plaque by Jeollanamdo Province for constructing the access road to Yeosu National Industrial Complex.

Lee Sun-Shin Bridge is a suspension bridge, the largest in Korea and 4th largest in the world in terms of size. The bridge is a phenomenal architecture built with Korean technologies ranging from engineering and construction to materials. Amid the tough work conditions including rough marine climate and airborne cable installation, the bridge has been open five years and 2 months since the building of the bridge started in November 2007 without a single serious accident.

Daelim is planning to penetrate the overseas special bridge market based on Korean-style suspension bridge technologies completed through the construction of Lee Sun-Shin Bridge.
