Daelim celebrates milestone of 5 million accident-free man-hours

Daelim held an event in celebration of the milestone of 5 million accident-free man-hours with about 70 people in attendance including the client, consortium officials, and worksite employees on January 17 at the site of Daelim’s China BASF Chongqing MDI worksite. The BASF Chongqing MDI worksite recorded 5 million accident-free man hours between June 2011 and January 6, 2013. With the BASF Chongqing MDI project, Germany is constructing an MDI plant in Chongqing, China with annual output of 400,000 tons. MDI is one of the most important raw materials of various polyurethane products. In the project, Daelim is part of the consortium as the lead company spearheading engineering, purchase, and overall construction management of the project.
