Daelim Completes SSBR Project of Korea Kumho Petrochemical

Daelim completed the SSBR Project of Korea Kumho Petrochemical (KKPC) in disaster-free mechanical mode and received a mechanical completion certificate from KKPC on December 7, 2012. As a turnkey-based construction project ordered by KKPC, the project involved building a petrochemical plant producing SSBR (Solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber), a next-generation synthetic rubber, in Yeosu Industrial Complex, Jeonnam Province.
Daelim commenced the project on July 15, 2011 and completed it in disaster-free mode, despite the relatively short construction period of 16.5 months. Test run is currently carried out to produce products, with the plant scheduled to be delivered to the client in January 2013.
