Daelim Industrial was once again recognized as a sustainable company in the region by being included in the DJSI Asia/Pacific Index for two consecutive years on September 8.
The DJSI is a leading global sustainability index. SAM, the sustainability investing specialist, and Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, evaluate financial, economic, environmental and social performances of global leading 2,500 companies every year, of which just 250 companies, or 10%, are selected. As evaluation factors include financial information, corporate governance, risk management, response to climate change, social contribution activities, win-win management, the index is recognized as a criterion for warm-hearted and good-natured companies.
Daelim has continued to harmoniously communicate with all stakeholders including shareholders, customers, employees, communities and NGOs, and conducted social contribution activities, which has led to a sustainable company and resulted in the inclusion in the DJSI Asia/Pacific Index.
