DL E&C elected Park Sang-Shin as the CEO.

DL E&C Park Sang-Shin as the CEO. 
 
- DL Construction appointed the executive director Kang Yoon-Ho as the new CEO. 
 
DL E&C announced on the 14th that it held a stockholders’ general meeting and a board meeting, and elected Park Sang-Shin, the head of the Housing Business Division, as the new CEO. It is understood that the Company forward assigns a leader with proven performance and capabilities as the CEO to overcome the crisis in the construction industry and speed up new business.
 
The CEO Park, who graduated from the department of business administration at Korea University, is a veteran with over 30 years of experience in the housing business, having joined Samho, the predecessor of DL Construction, in 1985. He served as the head of the Management Innovation Division at Samho in 2024, the CEO of Korea Development in 2016, the head of the Housing Business Division at Daelim Insutrial (currently DL E&C) in 2017, and then has been the CEO of Daelim Industrial since March 2018.
 
The CEO Park’s greatest strength is that he is a ‘proven leader’ who has demonstrated management capabilities. During his tenure as the CEO of Daelim Industrial, he led the innovation of business structure and organizational culture, significantly improving performance. In 2019, the Company achieved its largest-ever operating profit of KRW1 trillion, and was ranked among the ‘Big 3’ in the construction capacity evaluated by MoLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport). Previously, he served as the head of the Management Innovation Division at Samho, having a key role in the Company’s early graduation from workout and normalization of management, and demonstrating his outstanding crisis management ability.
 
As a housing expert, the CEO Park played a leading role in positioning ‘ACRO’ as a symbol of high-end residential complexes. He led the brand renewal, and transformed it into a high-end brand. 
 
It is expected that the CEO Park will expand and rapidly pursue new business, based on his successful experience in driving these changes. 
 
In addition, Kang Yoon-Ho, the executive director, was elected as the CEO of DL Construction, The CEO Kang graduated from the department of economics at Dankook University, and joined Daelim Industrial in 1991. As an expert in business administration, human resources and planning, he served as the head of human resources management at DL E&C before moving to DL Construction last year.
 
According to DL E&C, the CEO Kang plans to focus on through risk management, rebalancing the business portfolio, and strengthening the Company’s fundamentals as well as striving to improve the Company’s constitution.
