DL E&C announced on the 9th that it recently conducted statutory job training for all safety managers at YBM Training Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. The training was attended by 275 safety managers of DL E&C.

Statutory job training is mandatory every 2 years to foster the specialized knowledge of safety managers in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. The training includes all kinds of training to improve practical skills and knowledge on the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

DL E&C streamlined the management and completion of statutory training at all sites to provide support for all safety managers in completing their statutory training without omission.

The job training covered the specialized topics, such as review on the safety of handling heavy objects, and ground stability in preparation for the rainy season, as well as in-depth courses such as safety psychology, leadership and health practices. This comprehensive approach helped the safety managers improve their individual job skills, as well as instill their greater sense of responsibility for safety control.

In particular, DL E&C added a “cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training course’ to this training session. All safety managers who learned CPR techniques from theory and practice, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and how to use AED (automated external defibrillator), obtained CPR certification from the KACPR.

An official from DL E&C said, “This training was an opportunity to once again look back on the safety awareness and capabilities of employees responsible for the Company’s safety. We will continue to do our best to create a safe working environment in the future.”
