 DL E&C Publishes the First Sustainability Report Since Corporate Division 

DL E&C partner firms’ CEOs are receiving training on “being caught accident”

under the guidance of the instructor.
 
DL E&C announced that its 2022 Sustainability Report on ESG management activities on 21st. Since the corporate division last year, it is the independently published sustainability report. 
The report has focused on new eco-friendly business, safety society, and transparent governance establishment, which are each sector’s strategic direction of ESG, and has introduced various activities based on each direction. 
 
In the report, the details according to climate change-related financial information opening council have been included as a separate report. The report has also enhanced non-financial information disclosure’s transparency and authenticity by actively reflecting global ESG information opening guidelines including GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standard 2021.  
 
The company has established environmental management policy, biodiversity preservation and forest destruction prohibition policy, and is propelling zero energy building business through high efficiency energy building development. To use carbon neutrality as a new growth engine opportunity, DL E&C is expanding new eco-friendly businesses including CCUS business.  
 
In the social sector, the company proclaimed its active commitment to practice on human rights management by establishing the Charter of Human Rights based on international guidelines. Regarding the Serious Disaster Punishment Act enforced this year, various information on each division’s safety management organization and safety and health activities cases can be found. 
In the governance sector, the company expanded existing Governance Committee into ESG Committee, and integrated the Outside Director Candidate Recommendation Committee and Compensation Committee into Personnel Committee. In this way, DL E&C is operating outside directors-centered efficient committees. The company has promoted transparent governance structure by establishing guidelines to assure board of directors’ independence and diversity. 
 
DL E&C CEO Ma Chang-min said “We will continuously promote environment, society, and people-centered ESG management by creating income based on built up business experience and technological capabilities and adding innovation and ideas”.
