Oman’s SRIP Site Completes Overall Performance Test
Oman’s SRIP (Sohar Refinery Improvement Project) site
Oman’s SRIP site completed the overall performance test, the last stage of the project, on December 30, 2017. The test is a procedure to check whether the plants’ facilities are operating normally, after all the facilities are simultaneously operated including the 8 main process units built by Daelim and the utility infrastructure built by Petrofac. As a result, all the 22 products passed the quality assessment.
Cake cutting ceremony and Orpic Deputy CEO’s commemoration during the nighttime celebration party
On January 1, 2018, in commemoration of the test completion, events including cake cutting were held with the client. At night, a celebration of the successful overall performance test was held with the client’s deputy CEO and general manager and officials of Oman’s ministries in attendance.
