Daelim Achieves Synchronization at Philippines’ Pagbilao 420MW CFPP Site

The Philippines’ Pagbilao 420MW CFPP site successfully finished the test runs of each unit system on August 3 and achieved the core process of synchronization. Synchronization means commencing power generation and sending electricity produced for the first time to the outside through transmission lines.

The project is additionally building a 420MW power plant to the coal-fired thermal power plant located in Pagbilao, Philippines. The project is carried out in a lump sum turnkey contract wherein which Daelim is responsible for design, equipment purchase, and construction. The project kicked off in December 2014, and commercial operation is scheduled for December 2017.
