Daelim Bags Contract to Expand 3rd-Phase Lotte Chemical Yeosu Naphtha Cracking Facility

Daelim bagged the contract to expand the 3rd-phase naphtha cracking facility of Lotte Chemical Plant 1 located in Yeosu Industrial Complex on April 18. The project involves expanding the facility’s annual ethylene production capacity from 1.03 million tons to 1.23 million tons.
The total construction amount is KRW 150 billion (VAT excluded), with Daelim bagging the contract as a single contractor. Construction is scheduled to commence in April 2017, and mechanical completion is targeted for October 2018.
