Daelim’s Poseung biomass collective energy site successfully achieved electric power reception, a major process, on April 27. With this, full-fledged operation preparation including test run has been completed by receiving electric power from an external power network.

The project involves building a renewable energy power plant producing heat and electricity using lignocellulosic biomass*. Daelim Energy has participated as the largest shareholder by establishing Poseung Green Power, which is in charge of the project. Construction is scheduled to commence in April 2016, and commercial operation is planned in June 2018.

* Lignocellulosic biomass energy project: The project produces electricity using waste wood as fuel and contributes to the reduction of CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions.
