Privately Invested Deoksong Naegak Expressway Opened
Opening ceremony
The Deoksong Naegak Expressway constructed by Daelim was opened, with an opening ceremony held on Seobyeolnae IC on April 13. Namyangju Mayor Lee Suk-woo, heads of relevant agencies, Daelim Executive Director Park Sung-yun, Managing Director Gang Tae-gu, and site officials attended the opening ceremony.
The Deoksong Naegak Expressway is a 4-lane expressway (4.9km) connecting Byeolnae-dong, Namyangju City and Naegak-ri, Jinjeop-eup. With the opening of the expressway, the travel time between Seoul and Namyangju will be reduced by half an hour, and traffic jam relief and logistics cost savings are expected. The project is a private investment project, and Daelim will operate the expressway for 30 years until 2047.
