Daelim Awarded Excellence Prize in the Construction Industry’s Safety

and Health Activity Best Practices Competition for S1 of STCRS
Section 1 of Sanseong Tunnel Connection Road Site (S1 of STCRS) was awarded the excellence prize in the 48th Construction Industry’s Safety and Health Activity Best Practices Competition organized by KOSHA and hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on July 8, 2015. The competition has been held to contribute to accident prevention in the construction industry by autonomously propelling safety and health activities, finding effective best practices in accident reduction, and disseminating them to other construction sites.
S1 of STCRS won the excellence prize in recognition of the following: safety and health activities based on the SORA System through “Faithful to Basics,” the intensive safety management policy in 2015; onsite utilization of safety construction plans; consolidation of ties with workers through emotional safety; response system establishment through emergency response training; ensuring of safety through construction method change, and; equipment improvement cases.
Construction site director Lee Myeong-han and all employees vowed to strive to achieve the accident-free completion of the project and the goal of becoming the top construction site, making the prize winning an opportunity to enhance safety management competences.
