Daelim was awarded the Civil Engineering Grand Prize in the Construction Sector in the 2015 Civil Engineering Day Ceremony held at Renaissance Seoul Hotel in Yeoksam-dong on March 30, 2015.
Daelim has garnered the highest honors for its contributions to the construction of major key industrial structures and construction industry advancement by building special bridges – including Seohae Bridge and Yi Sun-sin Bridge – and dams, expressways, and railways.
In particular, the Mangyeong River Bridge (section 3-3 of Honam High Speed Railway) constructed by Daelim won the Gold Prize in the Civil Engineering Structures Competition of the Year. Crossing Mangyeong River in the Iksan-Gimje region, Mangyeong River Bridge is a local landmark to which Daelim’s special bridge technology was applied. The bridge received high rating for the safety and beautiful appearance of its structure.
