The Philippines’ RMP-2 site recorded 80 million man-hours of zero accident on February 21, 2014 and received the corresponding certificate from client Petron. The site has been recording zero accidents so far since construction commenced in August 2012, overcoming various unfavorable conditions including record-breaking heavy rain and mobilizing 15,000 workers on average on a daily basis.

The construction project is the largest one won by a Korean company in Southeast Asia at the time. The construction site is located in the Limay region in Bataan, about 150km southeast of Manila. The project involves building new oil refinery facilities and expanding the existing oil refinery by adding modern facilities.
