Daelim was awarded the Geumcheon-Chyeongryang Section 1 Piping Construction Project on January 7, 2014. The contract amount of the project ordered by Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) is KRW 34.7 billion (excluding VAT). Daelim Civil Engineering Business Division (DCEBD), which has 86.4% stake (KRW 30 billion), will execute the construction.
The project is implemented to reinforce supply pressure in the gas pipes installed by KOGAS in the past. Section 1 constructed by DCEBD involves installing 30-inch diameter gas pipes spanning a length of 30.35km from Geuncheon-myeon, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongbuk-do to Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City. Construction duration is 24 months from the contract date.
