Daelim Added to DJSI World Index for the Second Consecutive Year

Daelim was added to DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices) World, which evaluates corporate sustainability, for the second consecutive year. According to the evaluation result released on September 11, 2014, Daelim, Hyundai E&C, and Ferro vial (Spain) were added to the DJSI World Construction & Engineering field. As the world’s first global standard to evaluate corporate sustainability, the DJSI evaluation has been carried out by the US S&P Dow Jones and Swiss evaluation agency, SAM, since 1999.

Among several top global 2,500 stock market-listed companies in terms of market capitalization, some companies are selected through the comprehensive evaluation of achievements in the financial & ethical management, risk management, human resources management, and social contribution fields.

Since Daelim was added to DJSI Korea (now for the sixth consecutive year) in 2009 and to DJSI Asia-Pacific (now for the fifth consecutive year), it has continually conducted social responsibility activities. As a result, Daelim was added to DJSI World this year as well following last year. The information on being added to DJSI is offered to investment institutions worldwide and is expected to wield a positive effect on the investment judgment of global investment institutions investing in companies outstanding in sustainability including SRI Fund.
