Pocheon Combined Cycle Power Plant Pocheon Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit 2 was completed, with commercial operations commencing on August 7, 2014. Combined with Unit 1 completed in July, Unit 2 has total production capacity of 1,560MW, which can be used by some 500,000 households simultaneously.
The Pocheon Combined Cycle Power Plant is equipped with various eco-friendly facilities such as foul water and wastewater treatment facilities and nitrogen oxide reduction facilities. It can also minimize greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the power plant boasts of excellent energy efficiency with combined cycle power-generating system that simultaneously uses gas turbines and steam turbines.
Daelim plans to foster the energy power generation sector intensively based on EPC competitiveness accumulated through experiences in operations of the plant and in the construction of domestic and international power plants.
