Daelim Awarded Contract to Construct KRW 100 Billion Samyang Pangyo R&D Center
Daelim was awarded a contract to construct the Samyang Pangyo R&D Center by Samyang Biopharm. The contract amount is KRW 84.6 billion (including VAT), and the construction duration is 20 months from July 2014 to February 2016. A civil engineering project won by the Daelim Architecture Business Division in October 2013 and completed recently and the future additional project for interior construction bring the total contract amount to KRW 100 billion.The R&D Center will consist of 6 floors underground and 9 floors aboveground, for a total floor area of 44,787m2. It is a major building for the research centers of Samyang Group’s core business groups in the food, medicine, and bio sectors. Through this project, Daelim plans to accelerate winning the research facilities construction projects promoted in the Magok and Cheongra districts including Pangyo, along with the Samyang Group’s next project.
