Daelim Selected as Preferred Bidder for Local Heating Supply Project
Using Sewage Heat of Seonam Water Recycling Center

 
Daelim was selected on June 24, 2014 as preferred bidder for a local heating supply project using the sewage heat of the Seonam Water Recycling Center in Seoul City.

This project involves building the facility supplying heating to the Gangseo and Magok districts using the heat recovered from the effluent generated from the Seonam Water Recycling Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The facility is expected to supply heat of more than 150,000Gcal per year. Total project cost is KRW 36 billion, with total operating expenses of KRW 140 billion (excluding VAT); Daelim’s stake is 70%. Construction duration is 12 months from the commencement date (including test run period), and facility operating period is 20 years.

As Daelim’s second operating project following the SiheungBangsan Sewage BTO project in 2013, this project is forecast to contribute to new revenue structure creation by expanding the value chain from construction to operation phase. A slated project within the Seonam Water Recycling Center is expected to be won additionally with the conclusion of this contract.
