Daelim Inks MOU with Korea Midland Power
to Penetrate Overseas Hydroelectric Power Generation Markets

Daelim inked on May 8, 2014 an MOU to penetrate the overseas hydroelectric power generation markets jointly with Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) and Lotte Engineering & Construction. Daelim President Kim Dong-su, KOMIPO CEO Choi Pyeong-rak, and Lotte Engineering & Construction President Kim Chi-hyun attended the MOU signing ceremony held at the head office of KOMIPO in Samsung-dong, Seoul.

The MOU was signed to undertake jointly the Azad Pattan Hydropower Project with 640MW capacity in Pakistan and Muarra Juloi Project with 280MW capacity in Indonesia. For the major details of the MOU, KOMIPO will handle overseas projects overall and take charge of power plant operation after the completion of the power plants concerned. Daelim Civil Engineering Business Division and Lotte Engineering & Construction will be tasked with the design and construction of power plants.
