Daelim Wins Environmental Industry Test-Bed Research Complex Project
Daelim won the project to build an environmental industry test-bed research complex on December 17, 2013. The total amount of the contract ordered by the Environment Ministry is KRW 126.2 billion, and Daelim’s stake is 50% or KRW 63.1 billion. The education research facilities, gym, and test-bed experimental facilities will be constructed at a 180,000㎡ site with total floor area of 41,709㎡ – featuring 1 floor underground and 4 floors aboveground – within the General Environment Complex located in Gyeongseo-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.The project is a state project involving the building of a test-bed research complex to support all processes from small and medium-sized environmental companies’ technology development to exports. Major facilities including research support center and experimental facilities (water purification, sewage treatment plant, etc.) will be situated here. The project is slated to kick off in April 2014, with completion targeted by December 2016.
