Daelim Signs MOU for Investment in the Construction of Goryeong Natural Gas Power Plant
Daelim signed an MOU to invest in building a natural gas power plant with Goryeong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do at the Goryeong Gun Office on October 31, 2013. The power plant will be constructed as a privately funded power generation project. Daelim plans to construct a 1,880MW natural gas power plant at a 230,000㎡ site in Ogok-ri, Seongsan-myeon, Goryeong, Gyeongbuk by investing KRW 1.5 trillion. Daelim’s Construction Division will go through authorization/permission procedures to build the power plant, with Goryeong-gun handling administrative affairs for the project and organizing a TFT for the project. Following the 7th National Power Demand and Supply Scheme in 2014 and industrial complex implementation approval that same year, construction will kick off in 2014, and power plant operation will commence in 2018.
