Daelim Wins Project to Build Industry-Academe-Research Cooperation R&D Center
Daelim won the project to build an Industry-Academe-Research Cooperation R&D Center in Pangyo Techno Valley on August 26, 2013. The project involves constructing education and research facilities on a total floor area of 53,054㎡ with 2 floors underground and 8 floors aboveground at 698 Sampyeong-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. The contract amount is KRW 78.3 billion (excluding VAT), and construction is expected to be completed within 24 months of its commencement.The R&D Center plays a role in connecting tenant companies and college research centers; thus, the joint research facilities of companies and colleges will occupy the center. The R&D Center is expected to play a leading role in positioning the center as a global top-tier, cutting-edge cluster similar to the US’s Silicon Valley.
