First Cold-Rolled Coil of Novelis Korea Aluminum Project Successfully Produced
The first cold-rolled aluminum coil was successfully produced on July 18, 2013 at Yoeongju Factory of Novelis Korea, which is being constructed by Daelim. Following the production of hot-rolled aluminum coil at the Ulsan Factory of Novelis Korea on June 20, 2013, cold-rolled aluminum has been produced as well. In this manner, the aluminum rolling process has been successfully completed. As the first aluminum rolling factory construction carried out by Daelim, this project is intended to expand Novelis Korea Ulsan/Yeongju factories’ rolling facilities and auxiliary facilities. It is a very meaningful project since Daelim is implementing the project from basic engineering (FEED) to EPC.
