China BASF MDI Site Holds Commemorative Ceremony for 10 Million Safe Man Hours

China BASF MDI site held a ceremony commemorating the feat of 10 million safe man hours on July 16, 2013. The client’s management as well as site personnel including Daelim Executive Director Gang Young-guk attended the ceremony held in Chongqing, China.

The BASF MDI project is building the MDI plant with annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of MDI, one of the core raw materials for polyurethane product production. It is also used for various product lines including building materials, refrigerators, and shoes. The BASF MDI site recorded 10 million zero-accident hours as of July 3, 2013 since the commencement of the project on June 1, 2011. The project is scheduled to be completed in May 2014.
