Daelim won on July 16, 2013 the Upper Part Functional Facility Construction Project of Incheon New Port I-1 Stage Container Wharf B Terminal ordered by Sunkwang New Container Terminal Co., Ltd. The contract amount is KRW 75.8 billion (exclusive of VAT), and Daelim’s stake is KRW 53.1 billion (70%). Construction is slated to be completed within 24 months of the construction commencement date.
This project seeks to build a container terminal where a large-scale container ship can dock alongside the berth in Incheon Port to increase the accommodated ship size and stevedoring capabilities in the harbor. Daelim will build an 800m long wharf and set up a 480,000m² container yard.
