Daelim Wins Project to Build Cheonan Doojeong Studio APTs
Daelim won on June 27, 2013 a project to build Cheonan Doojeong Studio APTs ordered by Daehan Real Estate Trust (DRET). This project involves constructing 838 studio APT units, 297 urban-type APTs, and amenities with 4 floors underground and 12 floors aboveground at 1464 Doojeong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam. Daelim will participate in this project as a construction company and will get paid for performing the construction portion every two months. DRET will be responsible for the sale of the APTs. The construction amount is KRW 77 billion (exclusive of VAT), and the construction duration is 22 months. Doojeong-dong, Cheonan is home to large corporations’ worksites including Samsung SDS and Samsung Display; thus, the one man-family ratio and population increase rate in their 20s and 30s are highest in the nation. Steady rental demand is expected since Doojeong Station, large discount marts, and parks are located around the APT complex.
