Daelim Wins Earth Work Project of KORCOM Operations Center Project

Daelim won the earth work project of the KORCOM Operations Center project on May 10, 2013. Ordered by the US government, the earth work project seeks to build new security facilities out of the YRP (Yongsan Relocation Program), through which the US army base will be relocated from Yongsan to Pyeongtaek.

This project consists of large-scale earth work, retention of earth for slurry wall, and earth anchor construction. The construction duration is 9.6 months, and the contract amount is KRW 21.2 billion. By bagging this project, Daelim is believed to be a step closer to winning the KRW 200 billion main building construction project of the Operations Center to be ordered in the second half of 2013.

Daelim has won contracts to build integrated facilities HQ, access control post, elementary and middle schools, and marshaling yard for the YRP Project, thanks to the client’s favorable evaluation of Daelim and its price competitiveness.
