Daelim wins Project to Construct Gwangyang Residential-Commercial Buildings
Daelim signed a contract to construct Gwangyang residential-commercial buildings ordered by KOREIT on May 7, 2013. This project seeks to build in Jung-dong – a highly preferred residential area within Gwangyang City for its proximity to Gwangyang City Hall – two residential-commercial buildings that can accommodate 440 households (area of space for exclusive use: 84m2), with 3 floors underground and 47 floors aboveground and total floor area of 76,388m2. The total construction cost is KRW 82 billion (exclusive of VAT), and Daelim will undertake the project alone.
The project is set to build Gwangyang City’s highest skyscraper, which is forecast to be a landmark in the city. The construction period is 34 months, and construction is slated to kick off in June 2013.
