Daelim Completes Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps Facilities
 

The facilities of Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps (KAFAC) constructed by Daelim were completed on April 17, 2013. Aimed at relocating the KAFAC facilities located in Songpa-gu, Seoul to Gyeontan-ri, Hogye-myeon, Mungyeong City, Gyeongbuk Province, this project was commenced on July 7, 2009 and was completed 45 months later.

The KAFAC facilities have total floor area of 142,000sqm and consist of 54 buildings and 25 sports facilities. The main facilities include the main stadium, indoor training center for swimming, fencing, and wrestling, outdoor arenas for baseball, soccer, archery, and rugby, and accommodations for athletes, which can accommodate about 1,000 people at one time, plus various subsidiary facilities.
