Philippines’ Petron RMP-2 Site Records 10 Million Accident-Free Man-Hours

The Petron RMP-2 site in the Philippines recorded 10 million accident-free man-hours in February 2013, and a certification plaque was awarded to the site when the client’s board visited on April 3, 2013.

The accident-free man-hours achievement is an unprecedented record in the history of Petron. Petron CEO Lubin Nepomuceno delivered the certification plaque and expressed his heartfelt thanks. “We will strive to make the project the best one by realizing accident-free construction until the completion of the project with our accumulated technologies and know-how,” site-stationed director Yu Jae-ho said.

The Petron RMP-2 project will expand the existing oil refinery located in Limay, Bataan southwest of Manila, Philippines into modern facilities and newly build some facilities, so that high value-added products can be produced. At the time of winning the project, Daelim was noted for bagging the largest project ever won by a Korean company in terms of contract amount.
