Daelim Wins Project to Construct Container Yard Site at Busan New Port
Daelim won on April 2, 2013 a contract from Busan New Port Authority to construct a Container Yard (CY) site at Busan New Port. As part of the Busan New Port development project being pursued by the government to develop Busan as a Northeast Asian logistics hub, this project is carried out near Busan New Port CY 2-5 phase construction site, which is also being constructed by Daelim.Daelim plans to construct 115m connection shore protection (caisson style: 63.6m; block style: 51.4m) and 190,000㎡ container yard site. The contract amount is KRW 24.2 billion. Daelim will exclusively implement the project, whose construction duration is 46 months from the construction commencement date.
